The Best Toddler Music Table On The Market – Fisher Price Laugh and Learn

Fisher-Price. These guys are so cool.

We’ve already reviewed the Fisher Price Power Wheels Dune Racer Ride On and the Poppity Pop Music Dino — and I love how they always raise the bar of all of their creations so far above their competitors.

Why? I guess its because they love kids.

I am a fan of musical tables for toddlers. They entice the tots to stand and strengthen their shaky legs to try out the smorgasbord of enticing array of music and colors and flashing lights.

Originally, I was going to write a review of the LeapFrog Learn and Groove Music table. However, I discovered that it has a short play life (like, it breaks after 3 months.) It also has high levels of bromine and lead. I don’t care how cool a toy is (or how “hot” is supposed to be this holiday season) I’m NOT recommending a product like that.

However, Fisher-Price offers the Fisher-Price Laugh & Learn Fun with Friends Musical Table (Ok, that’s a crazy long name) which is waaay better than the other musical tables out on the market. We bought this toy for our son and he LOVED it.

It has everything you want. Bright lights, flip books that teach the kid finger dexterity. The base is extremely stable and the game is easily assembled and disassembled – I can’t tell you how many times we drug this toy to Grandma’s and back.

ABCs, Spanish, music. It’s all there. It even has a volume control switch hidden underside the base to let you customize it for the atmosphere.

My kid would spend hours navigating around and around the toy, entertaining himself and learning.

Dollar for dollar, we’ve gotten more out of our Fisher Price Musical Table than any other toy.

And, it’s in good enough shape to take on another kid.

Now there’s a Christmas gift that will keep on giving.

Ok, so not a true computer, but a great little toy that had an unlimited repertoire of questions, games and even an introduction to BASIC programming. Those were the days…
